The Society was founded in 1982 by a group of individuals committed to preserving the history of Whitefish and the Flathead Valley for the present and future. Since its inception the Society has grown to over 200 members from all parts of the United States and Canada.

Our visitors’ rights to privacy is our foremost concern and we take that responsibility very seriously and want you to feel comfortable using our site. This Privacy Policy deals with personally identifiable information that could be accumulated by our server applications.
